REVIEW : Hard Ride (Ready to Ride #4) by Opal Carew

SCHEDULED RELEASE DATES : ONE - April 7, 2015 / TWO - April 14, 2015 / THREE - April 28, 2015

Major thanks to NetGalley and St. Martin's Press for the ARC.

Hard Ride is broken down into a three part novel that together is book 4 in the Ready to Ride series.

Opal Carew is one of my favorite writers. She just takes erotica/smut to a whole different level. You can always expect to be left in a puddle by the end of her sex scenes. I love me a good and dirty biker series. I’ll review all 3 parts in this piece but I’ll signal book change.

REVIEW : Hate F*@k : The Horus Group Book 2 by Ainsley Booth

RELEASE DATE : March 23, 2015
It’s all fun and games until someone gets hurt. Then it’s business as usual.

Cole:
I screwed up, but I can fix this.

Hailey:
This can’t be fixed.

Big ole thanks to NetGalley and Victory Editing for the ARC.

*choir of angels sing*

YES! Finally part two of Hate Fuck has arrived! It is the fuck-awesome continuation of Cole and Hailey’s story.

No surprise that this is equally as great, if not better, than part one. The sex itself is ramped up by like a million degrees of unf. Holy hell just thinking about it, so good, can’t say it enough.

REVIEW : Persuading Him (The Heiress, Book 1) by Michelle Dare

Kasi has an immediate and intense attraction to her new pilot and is used to getting what she wants. Initially, he turns down her advances, but her skills of persuasion are no match for him. Unfortunately, the media won’t leave them alone. What Kasi doesn’t know is that she isn’t the only one who has a public past.

Find out what happens when the heiress meets the pilot.

Thanks to NetGalley and The Hype PR for the ARC.

Going to be real honest here, I could not get into this book at all. Everything just felt so rushed, and the sex, while dirty and frequent, read so much like bad porn dialogue.

REVIEW : Wicked Exposure by Katana Collins

Major thanks to NetGalley and Kensington Books for the ARC.

Have to say this book was fucking awesome. It’s rare that I just sink completely into a book but this was a big success. I love when I can get some filthy sex and a real mystery/suspense storyline all in one.

REVIEW : The Millionaire's Forever by Sonya Weiss

 SCHEDULED RELEASE DATE : March 31, 2015

Sign: Gemini

There are two sides to every Gemini guy...and one of them is red-hot.

Olivia Carter has a handsome, millionaire boyfriend. She's madly in love with him. The hitch? He doesn't actually exist. She told the lie to save Forever, her wedding design shop. And it worked-almost too well. As the media attention increases, so do the demands for Olivia to produce her "boyfriend." With both her reputation and career in jeopardy, Olivia is desperate enough to do almost anything...

Which is exactly what millionaire Mason Parker wants. Thanks to Olivia and her father, Mason went through hell during his teen years, and now it's time for a little payback-starting with the announcement that he's her one and only. Now the sexy Olivia has no choice but to do what Mason wants. But none of his plans for vengeance included falling in love with the woman he planned to ruin...
Thanks to NetGalley and Entangled Publishing for the ARC.

I’m going to admit to pulling an Olivia a couple times in my life; of course my mystery man story never became reality. Sucks for me and it kind of sucks for Olivia too since her dreamboat come to life has a pretty bad history with her and her father.

MOVIE REVIEW : Insurgent

IN THEATERS : March 20, 2015

This past Monday, I was able to get into a special screening of Insurgent in IMAX 3D. Insurgent is the second book in the Divergent trilogy by Veronica Roth. I was super excited and took my cousin along since we saw Divergent together too. I loved the book and I thought the film adaptation for Divergent was a good sign that Insurgent would be solid. Yeah. Not really the case here.

REVIEW : Vanilla by Megan Hart

RELEASE DATE : February 24, 2015

It's an acquired taste…he just has to acquire it

Elise knows what she wants in the bedroom, and she makes sure she gets it. Her thirst for domination has long been quenched by a stable of men only too happy to bow down before her.

But sexual satisfaction isn't the same as love, and she's been burned in the past by giving her heart too freely.

Niall is handsome, smart, successful and sweet—sweet as vanilla. When they meet, their romantic connection is electric, even though he's way on the opposite end of the kink spectrum. Despite how she fights it, Elise falls for him—but how can a relationship work when both lovers want to be on top?

Big thanks to Megan Hart for gifting me this read. Twitter rules!

Megan Hart is one of the most solid writers in the game, in my opinion. There is something unique in her ability to tell a story that just has so much character depth and pulls genuine emotion from the reader. Her books deliver more than just romance and sex. Vanilla is another great example to not judge a book by its cover.

REVIEW : Rock Hard (Rock Kiss Book 2) by Nalini Singh

SCHEDULED RELEASE DATE : March 10, 2015

Wealthy businessman Gabriel Bishop rules the boardroom with the same determination and ruthlessness that made him a rock star on the rugby field. He knows what he wants, and he’ll go after it no-holds-barred.
And what he wants is Charlotte Baird.
Charlotte knows she’s a mouse. Emotionally scarred and painfully shy, she just wants to do her job and remain as invisible as possible. But the new CEO—a brilliant, broad-shouldered T-Rex of a man who growls and storms through the office, leaving carnage in his wake—clearly has other plans. Plans that may be equal parts business and bedroom.
If Charlotte intends to survive this battle of wits and hearts, the mouse will have to learn to wrangle the T-Rex. Game on.

Major thanks to NetGalley and TKA Distribution for the ARC

Oh man, oh man, oh man, I don’t think I can truly express how much I loved this book.

Charlotte and Gabriel, or T-Rex, as he is affectionately known, gave me so many power duo feels. I’m talking Oliver/Felicity (Arrow) and Harvey/Donna (Suits) type emotions. Like they are each others complete equal in life. Add in the cat and mouse chase and this is a solid read.

REVIEW : Holding Strong (Ultimate Book 2) by Lori Foster

SCHEDULED RELEASE DATE : March 31, 2015

Heavyweight fighter Denver Lewis plays real nice, but he doesn't share. That's why he's been avoiding top-notch flirt Cherry Peyton. But a man can only resist those lush curves for so long. Their encounter surpasses all his fantasies, bringing out protective urges that Cherry's about to need more than she knows…
Denver's combination of pure muscle and unexpected tenderness has been driving Cherry wild. Yet no sooner does she get what she's been craving than old troubles show up on her doorstep. And this time, Cherry can't hide behind a carefree facade. Because the man by her side is one who'll fight like hell to keep her safe…if only she'll trust him enough to let him…

Special thanks to NetGalley and Harlequin for the ARC.

First off, I am a massive Lori Foster fan. The Ultimate series is probably one of the best takes on MMA in the romance genre, in my opinion. The men of SBC – Supreme Battle Challenge, which is Foster’s version of UFC, are so completely swoon worthy; I dare you to not fall in love with them.

REVIEW : Professor Cline Revealed ( The Professor #1) by J.M. La Rocca

RELEASE DATE : March 2, 2015

Getting pleasure from pain makes me a sadist. I’ve been that way for as long as I can remember. Plagued by painful memories and a dark past, I use women to help me forget. I’ve done everything in my power to take control of my life, but there are some things I have no control over.
People think they know who I am, but in reality, they know nothing.
My name is Mason Cline.
But after today, you will call me Professor Cline.

I am so torn on my feelings about this book. I mean, Mason is actually a really complex character, probably one of the most I have ever read, but there are times he just came across as your typical bad boy asshole. Bad boy asshole teaching law at NYU, but still.

Let me start by saying that I have a soft spot for certain "forbidden" romances. Most of all, I adore friends to lovers and lifelong love stories.

REVIEW : The Virgin by Tiffany Reisz

SCHEDULED RELEASE DATE : March 31, 2015

For years, Kingsley Edge warned Eleanor the day would come when she, the mistress of a well-respected Catholic priest, would have to run. She always imagined if that day came, she'd be running with Søren. Instead, she's running from him.

Fearing Søren and Kingsley will use their power and influence to bring her back, Eleanor takes refuge at the one place the men in her life cannot follow. Behind the cloistered gates of the convent where her mother has taken orders, Eleanor hides from the man she loves and hates in equal measure.

With Eleanor gone, the lights have gone out in Kingsley's kingdom. When he learns the reason she left, he, too, turns his back on Søren and runs. On a beach in Haiti, Kingsley meets Juliette, the one woman who could save him from his sorrows. But only if he can save her first.

Eleanor can hide from Søren but she can't hide from her true nature. A virginal novice at the abbey sends Eleanor down a path of sexual awakening, but to follow this path means leaving her lover behind, a sacrifice Eleanor refuses to make.

The lure of the forbidden, the temptation to sin and the price of passion have never been higher, and Eleanor and Kingsley will have to pay it if they ever want to go home again.

All the love and hugs and kisses to NetGalley for the ARC.

If you know me, then you know that I have not-so-patiently been waiting for this book to land in my hands. I am a huge fan of The Original Sinners series, and oh my God, Tiffany Reisz is just a master storyteller.

I will not drop any spoiler bombs because you just have to experience the full "holy shit!" effect for yourself. I will only say that The Virgin, book 7 in the series, ties up so many loose ends and makes you just love these dirty bastards so much more.
